I got mine today, the very day it shipped! This new version of an old classic is really terrif!! If you're at all a fan of the DW/DQ series, you HAVE to get this. I don't want to ruin too much, by giving a lot away, I'm into Chapter 2 already....but, I love how they incorporated screen rotation into this one, ala DQ6...and the animation is most sincerely awesome...I am thoroughly enjoying this!! If they did THIS good a job with DW4 over the original, I cannot WAIT for my all-time fave DW5 to come out, IN ENGLISH!! It's gonna be fricken GREAT!!!

What are the major differences between the original and this version?

NES:

No chapter 6
Casino prizes are easier to get.
Monsters aren't animated
Psaro doesn't join you.

DS:

Casino games are harder
Bonus chapter 6
Psaro will join you once Rose (Rosa) is revived.
Monsters are animated.
Immigrant Town

Also, a lot of towns are named different, and they have a different dialect in each Chapter in the DS version, unlike NES.

Chapter 1 is a Scottish dialect, Chapter 2 is Russian, chapter 3 is fairly close to what I'd call just normal...Chapter 4 is a highly fucking annoying French accent.
